Marketplace / FS: 2014 Ducati Panigale 899
« Last post by JLeosnow on Yesterday at 07:14:15 PM »
Selling my 899 Panigale. 76xx miles. This bike is a must see! The bike is fully serviced(fluids) and ready to ride. Never down, tipped, no scratches and always meticulously cleaned after every ride. Never ridden in the rain! All black plastic trim parts on the bike have been replaced with Matte carbon fiber parts. Very beautiful bike. No test rides and do not need help selling. Bike has a lot of extras, carbon fiber engine case protection, adjustable aluminum brake levers, fender eliminator, rear seat cowl with passenger pegs removed(rear seat and rear pegs included with sale), billet aluminum front pegs(not the slippery OEM Ducati pegs), more. I did this bike with TriColore fairings but the OEM red fairings could also be included with the sale. Pics of it in its TriColore state are listed first and the OEM red fairing set-up are pictured last. Extended warranty thru 2020. 11,500 firm.

Thanks!

-John

I've done a few trackdays on my Q3's that are on my bike right now. I wonder if mine have that issue.

Sportbikes / RECALL: Dunlop Sportmax Q3+ tires, size 120/70ZR17 58W

http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/dunlop-motorcycle-tire-recall-for-manufacturing-defect-sportmax-q3

THE RECALL: Sumitomo Rubber USA, LLC (Sumitomo) is recalling certain models of Dunlop Sportmax Q3+ motorcycle tires, size 120/70ZR17 58W. The affected tires may have porosity (air pockets) in the shoulder region of the tire. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119, "New Pneumatic Tires-Other Than Passenger Cars."

WHAT COULD HAPPEN: The tire defect may affect the handling and/or steering characteristics of the motorcycle. Continued use can result in tread chunking. These conditions may increase the risk of a crash.

THE FIX: Dunlop will notify the retailers and customers and will offer replacement tires, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin during June 2017. Owners may contact Dunlop Motorcycle Tires at 1-800-845-8378.

MORE RECALL INFORMATION: Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to safercar.gov.
