Is this a good way, or a bad way to end the season?
« on: March 26, 2013, 12:34:26 PM »
  • PROS: Reason to buy new sleds!
CONS: Gotta buy new sleds :(

Im not kidding our normal group would have mentally devastated this girl. Im talking years of therapy to even be able to tie her shoes again. She was nice enough girl but she was in over her head.

  • This is exactly what happens when you leave your parking brake on a sled FYI
although most here don't have that feature.
I was sliding down the track wondering "Is that my bike?" then it hit me.

  • I don't thing thier ensurance is going to pay on either one. Both sleds on fire at the same time and the same amount burning. 100% setup.

At first I was thinking the exact same thing, but now that I give it more thought I do remember that my snowmobile used to have one -it was a 93 Mach1.  I never even used it, not once.

My Girl's new sled ('97 XC440) has one but her old one ('96 Indy 500) didn't. Neither does my '85 Indy 400.
My sled has a parking brake, but doesn't need one.  When I don't want it to move I just burn a piston and call it good.
(srsly though, I do have a parking brake, but it's an aftermarket Wilwood brake master cylinder)
In God we trust, everyone else keep your hands where I can see them.

Mona is picking it up now while I'm at work.
It's actually a '97 XC440, but it's basically the same as my sled but without all the crazy  one-year-only race shit.

Agreed, and with less rare stuff on there it'll be easier to fix if anything breaks.
